reasons to be thankful

instead of writing a traditional christmas letter to friends and family, in 2010 we did something different:  we wrote a short note asking a simple question, what are you thankful for? we included a self-addressed stamped envelope so people could easily reply to us.  here are some of the answers.  (names have been omitted for privacy)

  • family
  • supportive friends
  • a warm home
  • chocolate
  • books
  • grace
  • donuts
  • music
  • continued employment
  • toys
  • physical health
  • sense of humor
  • God’s promises
